By matching a set of triples against a template, molecules can be constructed with a certain shape instead of arbitrary shape.

Molecule templates can be used to build a molecule from a set of triples. A molecule template consists of a number of "triple patterns", each of which have "node patterns".

The matching of the set of triples and a template is an variation of the bipartite graph matching problem.
