This is primarily a bug-fix release with improvements to the units subsytem and other areas.
Significant improvements and fixes to the Units subsystem have been made although most known units are still not defined. That will happen in the next release. Some improvements and fixes have been made to the spreadsheet app. Attributes may now be set on a row, column or cell basis (right-click for popup menu).
Alpha-2 Version. Complex class added, with many other enhancements, bug fixes, etc.
I need help testing all of this!!
Major improvements in many areas of the product, including
better integration with JEP, numerous bug fixes, more spreadsheet
functionality (in the SampleApps).
It is now possible to parse and evaluate mathematical expressions without losing precision, by using the integration of Jquantity and JEP. Note that this first release does not support complete functionality, but is primarily for comment.
JEP is a project of SourceForge: http://jep.sf.net
The first release of JQuantity has been made today. I am interested in serious comments on the vision of the project, its structure, usability, extensibility, object-orientedness, etc.
