elements are numbered in the order they get created. in
the dialog you have to define a predecessor. e.g.: if
you create element 7 you have to define 1 to 6 as
predecessor. so far so good.
but if you want to make element 7 the predecessor of
e.g. element 3 later on JProjectTimer will predecess
element 3 with element 6 because there are only 6
elements in the predecessors list and JProjectTimer
uses the position in the list as the number for the
predecessor.

You've found a very basic bug.
To be corrected in the next version!
In the Task edit pane, the choice for predecessor can be
replaced by a table indicating the task number and task text
for easiness for use.
