Damn.. I made a silly mistake.
1. goto JPORTLET_HOME/src/jportlet and run 'ant'
2. goto JPORTLET_HOME/src/samples
   - run 'ant', this will create JPORTLET_HOME/dist/jportlet-samples.ear
   - run 'ant deploy' to deploy the app into JBoss

Sorry for the inconvenient, Im going to make a new build soon
