CSTextExtractor non printable chars

Ho I can understand, default implementation of CSTextExtractor.onCharacterFound() using CMap under the cover, which in turn tries to get chars thought PDFont.getToUnicode().getChars(). But when codepoint is "2", for example-non printable char-you get NullPointerException in StringBuilder.append(char) for CSTextExtractor.
Is it expected behavior,or I can do something(configure jpod somehow) about it?

    Thanks.

i,m sorry, we missed your request.

NPE is something that is never expected (at least in jPod…). Maybe we missed some cornercases and it would be great if you could upload the document that causes the failure. to handle the NPE it should be enough to check for null in "onCharacterFound".
