Sorry for posting this question on the both forums(mondrian and jpivot) because I am not sure which one is most related.
I have checked with jpivot 1.2.1 and the mondrian in the jpivot 1.2.1 package. It seems currently calculated member still can not be defined in schedule file. But we can define and use it through MDX Query by "with member ....".
The question is does mondrian/jpivot support all the functions/definitions related to the Calculated Members that are described in Microsoft MDX syntax. That is to say, if we define a calculated member in microsoft analysis , we should be able to define a "same" calculated member in mondrian/jpivot. Am I right?
If not, could some of you provide the calculated member related features list that are currently supported by mondrian/jpivot.
By the way, can somebody simply tell me which method could be used to check the syntax of user-input mdx query?
Thanks and best regards
sorry, a typing mistake.
"defined in the schedule file" should be "defined in the schema file"
