When I'm setting a shortcut for attributes editor and toolbox, it isn't remembered when restarting the app (Ctrl+D is back for attr. editor, and the one for toolbox has disappeared).
cfg : jPicEdt 1.4.1, sun jdk 1.5.0.10, xorg 7.qqch, linux
Seems that there is a problem with the ui shortcuts.
Here is the relevant part of the cfg after closing jPicEdt and looking at it :
action.command.DVI=F6
action.command.Dvips=F7
action.command.Ghostview=F8
action.command.LaTeX=F5
action.draw.ClosedMultiCurve=UNDERSCORE
action.draw.Ellipse=O
action.draw.Line=AMPERSAND
action.draw.MultiCurve=QUOTEDBL
action.draw.Rectangle=QUOTE
action.draw.SmoothPoly=MINUS
action.draw.Text=T
action.editorkit.PasteSpecial=control shift V
action.editorkit.Rotate=R
action.editorkit.Scale=S
action.editorkit.Select=M
action.editorkit.Translate=V
action.editorkit.Zoom=Z
action.ui.Close=control W
action.ui.Exit=control Q
action.ui.MemoryMonitor=F3
action.ui.ShowErrorLog=F4
action.ui.TileHorizontal=W
action.ui.TileVertical=X
* when restarting jPicEdt, the hotkeys cfg panel regarding TileHorizontal and TileVertical is blank.
* idem if i do that for action.ui.ToggleAttributesPanel=qqch and
action.ui.ToggleToolkitPanel=qqch
* but action.ui.Exit=qqch is working so I doubt that this is a problem with something else than jPicEdt.

Yes, you have to click on the OK button for the shortkey to be configured.
Probably the user interface is not very intuitive and can be improved. Thank you for reporting that.
Waitig for your feedback, and then I close the bug and transfer this to a feature request.
