I've had a user reporting a problem with the pen location when using JPen with a Cintiq:
"When I use the pressure module, the stroke appears about 150 pixel to the right and about 50 pixels above the position of the pen on the screen (using a Cintiq) "
I have not encountered any problems when using a normal wacom pen tablet, but imagine this has something to do with the Cintiq specifically. It will of course be difficult to debug this without the device, so I will try and point the user over here to report back.
Thanks in advance,
PS, the relevant code from the application is here:
and also here:
Hi. Please help me collecting the following information:
* The Wacom driver version. You can use the "Control Panel"->"Wacom Tablet Properties" applet, "About" button to get the driver version.
* Does the problem happend when using Alchemy in fullscreen mode or windowed mode only?
* Please download and run the following jar: http://jpen.sourceforge.net/extra/screenInfo.jar . double-click the jar to run. If double-clicking does not work, you can type "java -jar screenInfo.jar" on a command line window. The jar displays a message window with information about the screen devices found on the system, please copy and paste all the info here.
I also had this problem with my Cintiq, but it went away if the application was full screen, or if the Cintiq was the only monitor attached to the computer. With two monitors, it happened.
