Just as important as the rotation transforms, I would appreciate having a file reduction function in the right-click Transform menu. A function that would allow me to create a reduced-size image (saving as a '*_small' file) of the currently viewed file.

Would appreciate even more if the reduced file creation process was full automated, writing the new file in the same folder as the current file's (item for 'Save picture_small.jpg as 1200 px long side' or 'Save As... 1200 px long side' -- a convenient format for sharing photographs).

Thanks!

You can save the image in the display resolution (e.g. 1600 x 1200 when displayed full screen on a 1600 x 1200 screen) with CTRL-SHIFT-S.
But that is probably not what you are searching for as it does not allow numerical input of the new size.

That actually helps, thanks. I can zoom out from the original (mousewheel, down to a minimum of about 300x500 pixels) and save smaller versions of the file this way.

    In 1.0.32:
    Transform image > Change size
