Jounce / News: Recent posts

The JApplet version of Jounce is now online at http://jounce.sourceforge.net so it can be tried before downloading the source code and classes for local use.

My original plan was to have a 3D version of Jounce. Progress was going well until the system I was working on died. With college and work starting again, I had decided to postpone the project until the next summer. A year later, I realized I hadn't documented anything and my only backup was of a nonworking experimental version. Well, interests change, and now I'm going back to my original idea from before the 3D attempt. The game will be 2D, except instead of the generic blocks in the 3D version, blocks will be able to perform actions of their own. Anyway, I just wanted to let anyone passing by know that this project isn't dead.
