I reinstalled Java and the Runtime Environment, reinstalled the soundcard drivers and removed the Hurchala Maple Midi Virtual Cable in favor of the Loopbe1. I am back to normal with no problems. The high volume distortion hiss was initiated if I opened jOrgan or my Midi Sequencer program, either one independently or both together caused the noise problem which would immediately stop as soon as I closed them. I was not sure what common factor to both applications other than something with MIDI messaging would have caused the loud hiss sound, like a loud white noise. All's well that ends well. Subject: Re: [jOrgan-user] (no subject) Sven, whatever this error is, it is producing a nasty loud hiss through the sound system of the organ. I have read the file, but don't know exactly what the problem is or what the solution ought to be. I did reinstall a new copy of the runtime environment. It does not help. Any ideas?
