The meta server is down at the moement. The problem appears to be with SourceForge's SQL server. I sent a message to their contact info, but if anyone knows a quicker way to send them a heads-up, please do. This problem is affecting a large number of projects, I'd wager. ted |

I've posted a new binary of jOpenRPG to the website. I'm not ready to call it an official release yet - when the last of the gametree tools are done I'll make it official. I *really* recommend people upgrade though, as the new code is significantly better than the old. see http://jopenrpg.sourceforge.net/ for details |

You *will* get a "org.apache.crimson.tree.DomEx: WRONG_DOCUMENT_ERR: That node doesn't belong in this document." exception when trying to export a node or send a node to another player. This is a bug in the java xml API (JAXP) that I'm using, and not a bug in jOpenRPG. It will ( hopefully ) be fixed when JDK1.4 is release. I am not sure when the bug will be fixed in the JAXP library, hopefully before then. I am considering changing XML APIs. JDom ( jdom.org ) looks much more friendly, has been accepted as a potential addition to the java spec, and does not have this bug ( i've checked ). ted |
