    Hello :]
I'm pretty terrible at downloading things, so I really have no idea what I'm doing.
I downloaded a comic, and when I try to open it in Jomic, it says "must start with a known header bytes inst instead of "d8:a"".
does anyone know what that means?

When opening a comic, Jomic looks at the first few bytes of the file ("header bytes") to find out whether it is a ZIP, RAR or PDF file. All these file types have a special signature at the beginning of a file.

In your case it seem that the file starts with none of the know signatures.

This can have one of the following reasons:

    - The file is in a format not supported by Jomic (for example tgz, 7z, …)
    - The file uses some new dialect of one supported formats (maybe some "enhanced" PDF?)
    - The file is broken (for instance incomplete download)

Apparently the error message contains a typo, I just fixed this in the source code.
