I saw an old message in the news section on Sourceforge stating that a
Windows version of Joe had been released. Has this ever been done? Where
can I get the files? I'd be really happy to get a Windows or DOS version of
Gleim Publications, Inc.

I may be opening myself up to being a target here, but I've used joe for
years, and I wanted to know if there was any plan to implement some kind
of syntax highlighting language into it. I love the interface and
commandset with joe, nice and simple while remaining robust and
flexable, however it would be nice to be able to see if I screw up the
syntax of whatever file I'm working on while I work on it. I'm not
particularly asking for color in this addition (tho that could be funky)
... just simple bolding of keywords, etc etc.
