I am using joe for ages now.
Until recently when I am editing a file say httpd.conf, I could save it as httpd.conf.20130912.bak and continue editiing the httpd.conf so when pressing ^kd the original filename is there and I just have to press enter to save it.
But now in centos 6 when I save a file onder a different name joe follows this name.
How can I turn that of so joe remembers the original name and keeps it focus on it.
I mostly edit config files and often save bak files before I make changes. But I do not want to backup in advance since I often just view the file with joe without editing it.
I hope someone can help me out.
