I have a VDS CG2000. I didnt know what I was getting into. Can someone help me with bootup software. It has a 3.5 floppy. Pete firstname.lastname@example.org
The software is all on EPROMS (6809 machine code). I think it uses an MC6883 as a DRAM controller. The floppy is only for saved titling files. I think the floppy is 720K and it is in no standard format- it is either single sided or FM instead of MFM. I think the file system allocation unit was an entire track.
It needs an IBM XT keyboard (keyboard from an original IBM PC, not keyboard from IBM AT).
There should be two video outputs: the editing output (possibly black and white only) and the main output, which can genlock.
I don't have copies of the software, so hopefully the EPROMS are good.
