When I wrote about downsizing I meant with GOCR not to develop software of
my own.
5000$ is not NOTHING. It is not a lot - but it IS something.
And if GOCR stays open source then I'm paying for something which is not
mine.
So its a WIN WIN - if it fits the AMR (automatic Meter Reading) industry,
and is used by everyone in that industry.

Once its used extensively, problems will come up, and then the companies
will be happy to pay
for an advanced version with some special requirements or to pay for a
specific fix.
