#27 libjnotify.so is not compatible with RHEL 5.5

The shipped libjnotify.so library is not compatible with RHEL 5.5

It is relatively easy to recompile the Linux version on RHEL 5.5 to build a RHEL-compatible version, but one must then replace libjnotify.so, which is not very convenient. It would be more convenient to include a RHEL 5.5 compatible version in the release, under a specific name, and load it when running on RHEL 5.5.
