#26 Multiple modified events on new file add

Hi,
I'm seeing multiple file modification event in both windows 8 (64 bit) and linux (64-bit) systems. If I add a new file, it creates a "file create" event followed by 3 "file modify" event. Is it an OS level issue or JNotify code ?

If its an OS level issue, the how can we handle it programatically ? The JNotifyListener interface implementation runs on a single run and raises the event without any co-relation whatsoever.

Any pointers will be appreciated.
