[jNotes-list] IMPORTANT: The Project migration

Dear subscribers,

First of all, I wanted to announce that the jNotes2
project is renamed to
Memoranda and moved to
http://sf.net/projects/memoranda. The old SF project
(http://sf.net/projects/jnotes) is kept as a home of
jNotes version 1.0
(currently inactive).

The jNotes 2.0-alpha is renamed to Memoranda
1.0-alpha.


NEW PROJECT HOMEPAGE

The new homepage address is http://memoranda.sf.net
(currently under construction).


NEW MAILING LISTS
-----------------
There are two new mailing lists:

  * mem...@li... - main
project discussion list.
  * mem...@li... - mailing
list for announcements about software
    updates only (very low traffic)

I am strongly recommend to subscribe to one of (or
both) these lists instead of
the old one (jno...@li...). I
will post my messages to both
(old and new) lists for some nearest time, but I hope
to move the discussion to new
lists as soon as it possible.

NEW RELEASE BUILD
-----------------
The release now is splitted into two separate
distributions:

 1) Application build with source code
(memoranda-1.0a-**.zip)
 2) Third-party libraries and other dependencies
(memoranda-1.0a-deps-**.zip)

The second file is the content of the lib/
subdirectory and was separated
for reducing a size of main distribution.

You can download the Memoranda release files from

NEW CVS REPOSITORY
------------------
To get the anonymous access to Memoranda CVS
repository and checkout it,
use the following CVS commands:

$ cvs
-d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/memoranda
login
CVS password: (hit enter at the password prompt)
$ cvs
-d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/memoranda
checkout {modulename}

Names of modules available for access are

  * memoranda - The main Memoranda module
  * htmleditor - The module of Memoranda WYSIWYG
editor library

Also you can browse the CVS repository tree with
web-based CVS access:

To get the developer access to CVS, please email me
(you need to be registered
as SF.NET user before).
