#5 Problem with WinXP

I saw a similar message but would like to find whether
some one is able to resolve the issue:

I am having the following problem when I run
jnippGUI.exe, it opens a console window and closes
again. That's it and if I try to run debug version, I am
getting the following message:

Runtime Error!
Program: <path>\jnippGUI_d.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate
it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's
support team for more information.

I did not try on other platforms. But is there any
workaround for this one?
