There is still some stuff we planned for 0.2 not quite ready but the main feature, file-based data storage support without MySQL-database, is already there and should make jMp3Lib way more usable also for the average user.
So here it is, the preview release for version 0.2
Read more in the Release Notes and Changelog.
Version 0.2 of jMp3Lib is nearing completion. Its major improvement is a new file-based data-backend thats easily extendable to for backends.
Additionally, there will be some new interface-features, that make creating and managing playlists easier.
With Version 0.1.1, jMp3Lib features a completely redesigned toolbar, an import-dialog and some behind-the-scenes code cleanup.
The included player supports additional features and custom playlists can be created.
We are proud to announce our first release that runs out of the box (jMp3Lib-0.1-alpha2). All required libraries are included, only the MySQL Database has to be set up.
Then, you're just a double-click on a jar file away from it.
An initial release of jMp3Lib has been made in order to give people the opportunity to test it and comment on its features.
It's still very alpha, but should give a good impression of what is intented and where it might go.
This way, users can affect development decisions early by providing feedback.
