RasMol has the ability to disable zoom. one can say 'zoom 200' to zoom to 200% But one can also say 'zoom off', which will disable zoom and restore the displayed image to 100%. One can then say 'zoom on' to reenable zoom. Presumably 'zoom on' should return to the previous zoom level. However, RasMol/openrasmol has a bug. Saying 'zoom on' sets the zoom level to abou= t 300% ... always. Jmol also supports zoom off/zoom on ... but it does not replicate the bug= ... it remembers the zoom level that was in effect when the zoom was turned off, and properly restores that zoom level when one says 'zoom on'= Q: Does anyone actually use this zoom on/off functionality?
