I confirm what I wrote earlier : "starting with Jmol 12.0" Jmol 12.0 is compiled with Java 1.5 (so it requires 1.5 to run) and there's probably some code that really requires 1.5. But with Jmol 12.1, we have rewritten many things to take advantage of 1.5 new syntax (generics, annotations, ...)
