OK, so I just downloaded a trial version of Autodesk, and then carefully reviewed the VRML 2.0 specifications. This is a bug in Autodesk, but they are AUTODESK and we are Jmol, so we can adapt. I'll update a version momentarily that allows Autodesk to use its rules. It will make our files only marginally larger. (One byte per object).
