Dear Nico, As you may already know, Proteopedia uses MediaWiki. It seems to support languages just fine. The policy on non-English is still under discussion (Proteopedia is primarily an English wiki), but the page on 1eve http://proteopedia.org/wiki/index.php/1eve has been translated into Spanish, Russian, and Chinese: http://proteopedia.org/wiki/index.php/1eve_%28Chinese%29 Translation to Japanese is planned. Today, the Jmol wiki seems to be down. I assume this is intentional. Thanks for your efforts to improve it! -Eric At 9/7/09, you wrote: >Hi Takahiro, > >I am currently migrating the Jmol wiki to a new hosting >environnement, and the wiki is currently done (probably for a few days). > >I will see what can be done for inserting Japanese articles in the >wiki when the migration is finished and operational. > >Nico > >2009/9/4 Kudou Takahiro ><<mailto:chl...@ho...>chl...@ho...> > >Dear all, > >I tried to create a translated page of 'Internationalisation' into Japanese. >But I got an error message described below: > >--- >Function Query in "Revision::fetchFromConds" >Returned error from MySQL 1267: Illegal mix of collations >(latin1_bin,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation >'=' (<http://sql1.wiki.jmol.org>sql1.wiki.jmol.org)" >--- > >It seems to be caused by the some database settings about character encoding. > >Could you change settings to be able to use Japanese? > >Best regards, > >Takahiro Kudou. > > >_________________________________________________________________ >$BL5NA!*%1!<%?%$$X$N(BHotmail$B%"%i!<%H$O$3$A$i(B ><http://home.mobile.live.com/>http://home.mobile.live.com/ > > > >------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day >trial.
