Hi, could I ask everyone to exercise a bit of restraint in quoting then replying to other list messages? Many posters quote entire messages, whether they use a message's whole content or not (Bob Hanson, Philip Bays, and Timothy Driscoll come to mind, but I could be missing others.) Sometimes comment is inserted at the right place (i.e. somewhere in between the quoted message, Tim), but then the "unused" rest if the quoted message is left in. Sometimes (Bob, Philip) the reply appears on top, then the whole message quoted afterwards. left in after the new message. In both cases, it would make reading easier - especially in digest format - if you could trim down the quote to only those parts that you need to establish the context of your own contribution. Thanks a lot. Sebastian Lisken |
