to give an idea on how Jmol v10 is progressing (Jmol v9 is to be released this
month), check out the attached screenshot: it shows a new plugin (not even in
CVS yet ;) that lists all files in a certain directory, the last-modified
data, *and* the format, if the format is recognized.
Since not all IO has been ported to CDK yet, several file formats have a
notice like "(not implemented, file a feature request if you need it)"...
Those are things we can use some help with... and, of course, let use know
when you actually use on of those formats in your work...
So, to answer a returning question ("Does Jmol support this file?"), have a
look at the DirBrowser plugin... I'll try it get it to be part of the next
v10 release and loaded by default...
