With the new semantics in the latest pre-release, jmlc no longer prints nearly as much information about assertion violations as it used to (under release 5.5, with the old semantics). In particular it no longer prints information about the line numbers of what assertions were violated, or about what the values of formal parameters were used. This is a definite step back for users. Is it possible to restore this capaability in the new semantics?
