#6 translation of forward slashes on MS

The translation of forward slashes on windows to back
slashes
means that it is not possible to use JMK to drive MS
compilers
which take there option in the for of /Xxxxx. As the
commands that JMK executes are not portable this
translation is a mistake.
The option that I would prefer to be used is either
1). single_quote quoting of literals or
2). dropping of automatic translation of any string
with a forward slash or back slash in an providing a
function to do the conversion.
3). allowing slashes to be escaped with a meta character.

This inability to escape to use back slashes makes the JMK
unusable in many situations.
