After a long time figthing with the settings i finaly managed to connect but any server i attempt to join results in the bad password error

Firstly try and clear the part under your profile that says Server password. It may be that the server does not require a password.
Next if that does not work try and get a password for the server (correct one).
or just try another server (eg. irc.freenode.net )
I tried to connect to irchighway.net and irc.dal.net but both of them are asking for server password. How to deal with this? Thanks
