#60 restricted API

Once I installed the application and selected to "connect" to one of my IRC profiles, it opened up the chat window and then said the following:

"***Error trying to connect to IRC server, aborting... Exception: Application not authorized to access restricted API"

I'm assuming this error is because the application is unsigned?
