I added two sample cards to test the program out and
discovered that I'm locked out from continuing learning
(via the Learn button being grayed-out) once those
cards are answered 'correctly'. This is all very well,
except that I am now unable to change the learning
options and would have to wait for the session to close
to do so. It would be great if there were a separate
button to change those settings.

This would impact me as well in this kind of
circumstance: Lets say I've just finished all the
cards in a pile in the current session but I didn't
feel comfortable about my grasp of the material, so I
decide to review them again. There's no way of
twiddling the program to access these cards again
(short of hand-editing the XML). I effectively have to
wait until the program allows me to access them again.

The Leiter Cards should not give you the feeling you know
everything after the first test! It should make you repeat
the cards - learned and unlearnd ones in different periods
of time - so you repeat the ones you are not so sure about
more often than the ones you know better.

If you are unsure about knowing the learned cards - set the
2nd test on the next day or earlier -> cards you do not know
will drop out anyway and you will have to learn them again.

If you do not want to do this you can reset cards - so they
will get back in the 0 stack.

How do I reset the cards?

And another reason to be able to learn even if a learn isn't
schedule (eg. you've got 2 days until the next learn
session) is because you have some time you want to fill in.
Or at the end of the second session you decide that the
time between the sessions is to slow for your pace, etc.
etc. I could just see people wanting to be able to fiddle
with their Learn configaration were they to have a learn
session that day or not ;)

The whole software is build around the idea of having the
algorithm choose the right cards to be learned at a given
time. You still can still set your own custom learn schedule
though. This enables you to enter whatever learn cycles you
find appropriate. For example you could set it so, that
newly learned cards are already expired after 5 minutes. You
can also just reset cards if you're in a hurry and just want
to learn as much cards as possible before an exam.

There was a 'Force Learn' button in older versions, but I
removed it for the moment because it kind of contradicts the
"algorithmic" timing. I'll keep it this way for now, but
this might still be changed in the future. I'll keep your
request in mind. Thanks your input.

(I moved this topic to the support section as this isnt a bug)

Silly me. I didn't see the 'Reset card' toolbar icon -
which is exactly what I want in that kind of circumstance.

So, yeah, lets forget I said anything :P
