The new release includes several architectural changes, various enhancements and bugfixes. Among the new features are:

The new release of the Java MDI Application Framework includes major architectural changes, adheres to a new paradigm called "Document-Action-View", supports multiple views per document, and comes with (almost) complete API documentation.

The Java MDI application framework now includes a printing subframework (which also managed print previews), the Document/View interface was revised and large parts of the resource system were redesigned.

Version 0.3 of the Java MDI framework has been released.
I think that this version is already sophisticated enough to recommend it to brave developers for testing purposes.
