Read Me

jlibdc1394 is a framework to bring IEEE1394 portability to Java :)

1. About
This library is based on some libraries for IEEE1394 (i.e. libraw1394
and libdc1394-for Linux, and CMU 1394 Digital Camera Driver (DC) by Iwan 
Ulrich for Win32). It is using them as a lowlever functions to comunicate with 
the DC.

2. Installation
You need the resepective libraries and header files in order to build the 
package. Check the INSTALL notes.

3. Copyleft
This files are licensed under the Lesser General Public License (short LGPL, 
see file COPYING in the sources distribution).

4. API documentation
There is some documentation available on the web at:

The API is currently still subject to refactoring and evaluation. You can read
