#2 Full Support for ESRI Shapefiles
As of release version 13, only polygon shapefiles are
supported. I don't know if I will get complete support
for the other shape types into version 14, but this is
definitely a high priority. Completing this feature
depends on an extensive re-organization of the image
drawing code, which is now under weigh.

I recently completed the reorganization of the image drawing
code. This lets me work on this issue more. Now shapefiles
of type 1 (Point) are supported.
