Jitterbit 1.0.1 Released

This is a maintenance release that fixes various bugs, including some Jitterpak functionality and Fixed Field complex text documents. A full list of changes is included below.

Changes:

* Implement the add and substract operations for data elements of date and integer. The integer data element represent the number of seconds to shift for the date data element.
* Implement the following functions for transformation:
o Now_(), return the current date and time including fraction of the seconds whereas Now() return the same date and time but truncates the fraction of the seconds.
* Fixed some problems with the operation queue: Operations inserted by the Operation Engine was not visible in the queue and data elements were not removed together with the incoming message when items in the queue were deleted. Deletion of incoming messages are now done in a transaction.... read more

Jitterbit 0.9.10 Beta Released

Jitterbit 9.10 Beta is a maintenance update that includes bug fixes and a streamlined server installation that includes PostgreSQL and a standalone Jitterbit Apache Server.

Changes include:

Server

*Fixed problem in deploy. A web service request/response could not be used in more than one transformation.
*Fixed potential buffer overrun problem in string formatting.
*When a database target is updated and no rows are affected it is no longer treated as an error.
*Win32 Installer: Added "Visit Jitterbit support forums" buttons to the dialogs that are displayed when the installation ends in error or was cancelled.
*Win32 Installer: The Apache HTTPd is now installed as part of the Jitterbit server installation. It will show up as "Jitterbit Apache Server" among the Windows services.
*Fixed a problem with character encoding that lead to this error from the client: "java.io.UTFDataFormatException: Invalid byte 2 of 3-byte UTF-8 sequence.". The server claimed to return UTF-8 encoded text, but was returning ISO-8859-1 encoded text.

Jitterbit 0.9.9 Beta Released

This release includes a revamped installation for the server. "Core" installation is aimed at users with Postgres already installed. "Complete" includes Postgres and has been streamlined for a much quicker and easier installation.

Change include:

Server

* Include schema as part of table naming (tested on Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL Server).
* Fixed the bug for generating unnecessary empty xml node when "No source" was selected for transformation.
* Finished implementing the XML Schema extension type support for XML transformation.
* Fixed bug in treating DATE and TIMESTAMP data type of Oracle database. The TIMESTAMP was treated as string, and there was a problem inserting date field into Oracle database
* Fixed problem with PostgreSQL int2 type support.
* Fixed problem with lost precision when getting double precision floating point data from a database.
* Win32 Installer: If postgresql-8.0-int.msi is present in the directory from which setup.exe is run, and the user selects to install PostgreSQL, then the installer will prompt for the PostgreSQL Windows Service user, and run the PostgreSQL installer in non-interactive mode. This cuts down on the information the user needs to provide and makes the installation process more streamlined.
* Win32 Installer: Many changes were made to make the installer follow Windows Installer component rules. The effect is that upgrades will work as they should.
* Linux Installer: Recognizes that SELinux is active and in that case issues a warning. ... read more

Jitterbit 0.9.8 Beta Released

Changes in 0.9.8:

Server

* Fixed problem in deploy. If transformations were deleted and created in the same deploy, in some cases the new structure file was deleted and not the old one since the new transformation got the same identifier in the database. This was fixed by adding new transformations first and then deleting the old ones.
* Process names now start with "Jitterbit" on both Windows and Linux.
The Jitterbit Process Engine now uses the JitterbitOperationEngineProc (.exe on windows) by default.
The command to use can be changed in konga.conf.
* Fixed bug 1439838, "ignore history" feature not working.
* A new internal function MD5() has been added for transformation.
* "" can be used as path separator for ftp. It will be converted to "/" by the operation engine
when constructing the ftp URL.
* A new features has been added to the Operation, which allows the operation to pass a set of
global data elements to successive Operations (success/failure operations).
* Added support, in WSDL files, for import/include statements that use URLs.
* Changed transformation log file name generation to use GUID instead of time stamp,
since time stamp is not unique enough.
* Fixed bug 1440680: Parsing WSDL.
* Win32 Installer:Now we check if we already have valid database credentials available.
(If so, then the installer will not prompt the user for them.)... read more

* Fixed bug 1435588: ProcessEngine crashes without KONGA_HOME set.
* Fixed problems in the XSD parser: Anonymous group nodes must have an internal, unique name.
* Win32 Server installer: Now stops the Apache service before running and starts it again when done.
* Win32 Server installer: Now checking for previous installed version, using db admin user instead of Jitterbit user, which means the installer will find old versions even when the user specifies a new password for the Jitterbit database user.
* The Scheduler will now wait for the database system to respond, for up to 400 seconds. It emits a warning every 20 seconds.
* Win32: Changed names of processes from Konga.exe to Jitterbit.exe.
* Win32: httpd.conf was not cleaned up on uninstall, but now it is.... read more
