#10 Subscript/Superscript Problem

See the attached screen grab.
In the first line the expression was entered as
x3+3x2-7x+5=0. The superscripts 3 and 2 were then
created. This works fine.

In line two the subscript and the superscript were
added as the expression was written. After the second
superscript it is not possible to return to normal text
entry. The cursor remains at the superscript level and size
