Version: Jin 2.1.4
Windows XP SP2
I have sound enabled and hear the appropriate sound when a piece moves or when the king castles. But when a piece captures another, I do not hear any sound. In previous versions (2.1.3 and 2.1.2) I did hear a sound for a capture.

Actually the sound works sometimes on captures, but rarely, and this just started to happen about 3 weeks ago. It seems as though a process is interfering with the completion of the beep on a capture, because sometimes you get just a short partial beep, but usually it's nothing at all.
If it is possible to select the previous version that was working with capture beep, I would appreciate it, because I rely on that sound, so I know it's my move. I've been having some pretty tough luck with the clock since the sound has disappeared.
Thank you for all you have done with Jin Applet. I think it is just a great program for ICC.
