JImage Mosaic / News: Recent posts

JImage Mosaic 0.2 alpha has just been released. New features include selectable color correction levels, tile rendering order selection, and tile repetition selection.

You can now download your own copy of JImage Mosaic. Its still in alpha form, so expect a lot of bugs, and don't expect a lot of the functionality to exist yet. Windows users download JImageMosaic_0.1alpha_bin.zip, Linux users download JImageMosaic_0.1alpha_bin.tar.gz.
The source code is also available for download.
IMPORTANT!!!
To run JImage Mosaic, you need to download the Java Runtime Environment (version 1.4), and the JAI API for Java. Instructions for downloading these are in the README file in the JImage Mosaic release.

Here is a link to a couple more pictures generated with JImage Mosaic. I've added the "no-repetition" ability. It needs some major work though. The quality isn't very good yet.

Here is the first picture I've created with JImage Mosaic. Don't be too critical of it yet. This image was generated using a library of 2700 images, and used EXTREMELY simple algorithms.
