#2 Out of memory

I'm generating a photomosaic with a few 100x100px
tiles. The base image is 2000x2000px.

If I set the number of tiles to 40 x 40 I've got an
"out of memory" exception.

Repeating this process I can check -using
gnome-system-monitor- that cpu is up to 90% but used
memory is no more than 40%.
