Sorry for the confusion here. RVM.primordials.3 is just a temporary file. It holds the names of all of the classes in rvmrt.jar. RVM.primordials is the one you want. And it does not contain InetAddress. (You're using the prototype build, aren't you? You're not using a Full* build, I hope.) There is apparently a bug in bin/jconfigure such that RVM.primordials.{1,2,3} are sticking around, even though they serve no useful role.
