Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Ian Rogers (captain5050) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Initial AMD64/X86-64/EM64T port Initial Comment: This code comes from work by Frederik De Schrijver (the University of Ghent), Arun Thomas and Dan Williams (the University of Virginia). The work is described in http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~dww4s/pubs/amd64jikes.pdf . It provides a baseline compiler port of the Jikes RVM to x86-64 using the extra registers and 64bit address space (unlike the current x86-64 config file that just runs the Jikes RVM in the 32bit address space with just 8 registers).
