[Jgroup-users] jgroup performance benchmark

Our application requires a high performance distributed cache.
We read your performance benchmark and found the numbers to be suitable
for us.

However we are deeply worried after coming across another jgroup
benchmark in :
http://jmob.objectweb.org/jgroups/JGroups-middleware-2004.pdf
The benchmark in the link above performs a very similar performance
test, but with poor performance results (see for example the performance
of 4 nodes using TCP)

How is it possible that such a benchmark ( which closely resembles the
official jgroup performance test) produces such poor results?
