#226 Date entry issues on version 3.51

I notice you don't have a ticket option for version 3.51.

Well, here's an entry for version 3.51 anyway.

1) The date field doesn't high-light when it gets focused inspite of the option to high light text enabled.

2) Many times the date field doesn't accept the date I enter, no matter what format I use. It just reverts to the previous date. This is on a NEW transaction.

P.S. I noticed the date entry has been modified to accept periods as delimiters. I requested that a long time ago. Thanks very much for doing that. It's a throw-back from the old Microsoft Money program. It just made data entry much easier. Unfortunately, the two bugs listed above have slowed data entry down again :(
