Der Fehler kam daher, dass bei der Indexerstellung für das Wörterbuch die Datei als EUC-JP-Codiert interpretiert wird, anstatt als UTF-8. Deshalb wurden nur ASCII-Zeichen richtig erkannt. Als ich EDICT-UTF8-Unterstützung eingebaut habe, hab' ich glatt vergessen, das anzupassen. Nächstes Mal muss ich mehr (bzw. überhaupt) testen. Michael Koch JGloss developer |

(de) JGloss 1.0.7 und 1.0.8 erzeugen für UTF-8 codierte EDICT-Wörterbuchdateien falsche Indexdateien. Dadurch bekommt man für die Suche nach japanischen Begriffen falsche Ergebnisse. Betroffen ist insbesondere das Wadoku-JT in diesem Format (WdJTUTF.txt). Die anderen Wörterbuchformate sind nicht betroffen, WadokuJT.txt und WdJTEUC.txt funktionieren (jedenfalls soweit ich weiss). JGloss 2a2 ist ebenfalls nicht betroffen. Der Fehler wird in der nächsten Version behoben. Die Korrekturen sind für Entwickler bereits über CVS verfügbar. (en) JGloss 1.0.7 and 1.0.8 create erroneous index files for UTF-8 encoded EDICT dictionary files. Because of this, searches for Japanese words give wrong results. The other dictionary formats work (at least as far as I know). JGloss 2a2 is also not affected. The error will be corrected in the next version. The fixes are already available to developers via CVS. Like many other people, I prefer to have the least amount of fiddling possible with my registry. It also makes it impossible to share the configuration files amongst Windows and *nix on a dual-boot machine. However, the file is only used with Java 1.3 or JGloss versions before 1.0.3. Hi, I think it would be a good idea to rename the configuration file for JGloss from .jgloss to .jgloss.conf or something similar. I have Windows set up here to open the annotated *.jgloss files with JGloss. Now of course Windows thinks that the configuration file is also an annotated document. Another option would be to change the extension for JGloss annotated files from *.jgloss to *.jgl for example. I think the latter might even be the better solution since in the *nix world it is common to put configuration in ~/.$NAMEofPROGRAM.
