I am running jgamebase 0.50-3 on mac OS X Lion to browse GameBase64 v0.8. CHecking memory usage with Activity Monitor, I see that Real Mem used by the jgamebase.JGameBase process is about 230 MB upon opening, after some browsing (not launching anything, just checking screenshots etc) it goes quicly up to about 1GB.

    Hi,

    thanks for the report.

I checked for memory leaks with the Eclipse Memory Analyzer which found suspects in Derby and Hibernate.

jGamebase is started with the option "-Xmx1024m", so it is allowed to use up to 1024MByte as Heap. If this is a problem for you, you can start with a lower heap limit (e.g. "-Xmx512m" still works for browsing, but see bug #3424287).

    Kind regards,
    Frank.
