#15 spaces in game filenames

Using jgamebase on Centos 5 I can't automatically mount a disk when the filename contains spaces.

This bash script loads uae and mounts a disk properly when run from the commandline:

#!/bin/bash
uae -0 "$1"

However, when run through jgamebase it doesn't work.

Example: The filename is "1st Division Manager.zip" (without the quotes)

The bash script here correctly mounts "1st Division Manager.zip" when run directly from the commandline.

When run through jgamebase, the filename mounted is "/tmp/gamebase/1st" which of course can't be found.

    Hi Frank,

Please test release 0.46d for this as well.
As you are trying the Amiga GameBase you might have better results with the development release 0.48DEV. I wrote a javascript script for uae, and Amiga sounds should be handled better.

    Kind regards,
    Frank.

There appears to be no change in version 0.46d. Same issue.

    Hi Frank,

glad to hear that 0.48DEV works ;-)

There is another thing you can try on 0.46 though:
"$1" is being filled as a short cut, but the preferred way to get the game path and name is via script variables.
The following variables can be used:

    WORK_DIR

    GAME

    GAME_TYPE

    GAME_FILECOUNT

    GAME_PATH_0

    GAME_PATH_<x>

    GAME_FILE_0

    GAME_FILE_<x>

    GAME_FILE_NOEXT_0

    GAME_FILE_NOEXT_<x>

    GAME_INDEX

    FILE

    C64_FILE

    NAME

    COMMENT

    CONTROL

    PALNTSC

    TRUEDRIVE

    DB_DIR

    HARDWARE_JOYSTICK

jGameBase sets these before the script is called. You are probably interested in "$GAME". Please be aware that some of these have changed name in 0.48...

    Kind regards,
    Frank.
