The major bugs has ben ironed out. I have used this program to restore a quite damaged volume, without any major problems. It still does not work on devices just yet, you must use an image file.

The jfsrec JFS recovery tool has been approved for hosting at sourceforge.net. We will soon publish the source-, and possible binary packages here.
