Hello there

As I gather from your roadmap, I am interested in your project.
I myself have some experience in FIX and Swing and have been working on Banzai, a example application at www.quickfixj.org for a while now.

I have been more or less satisfied with it and have extended it to suit my needs but still i would like to make it more configurable at run time.

Some things that i have been thinking about are -

1. Ability to add any tag (regular or user defined) at runtime.

Rather we can go for a making it a scripting framework in which new screens can be generated and save as scripts.

What i suggest it that you download quickfixj and play around with banzai and i can provide any help you require with that and then we can discuss if we can work on making it better.
